The annual conference of activists of the Forum for Dialogue Network took place this year on June 7-9 in Zegrze. I took part in it as a representative of Czarny Dunajec and talked about our activities in this area, as well as about the Jewish Czarny Dunajec website, which was created that year as part of a grant from the Forum for Dialogue foundation.
Such a meeting is a great opportunity to exchange experiences with people who care for the memory of the Jewish community in their cities and towns throughout Poland, and to look for inspiration, ideas and knowledge. The conference program also included, among others: meeting with writers Hanna Krall and Anna Bikont, lecture by prof. Roma Sendyka on (non)memory, conversation with prof. Michał Bilewicz on the current situation in Israel and workshops on Jewish genealogy.
